Portugal has always a popular tourist destination but in recent years there has been a rise of property investements with a surge of international new property owners moving here permanelty since the 2020 covid epidemic.

The Algarve has around 200km of golden beach coastline, which showcases fabulous beaches and sandstone cliffs. Furthermore it offers 50 kilomentres of attractive rural inland terrain. The almost untouched beaches and the aqua marine, calm seas are renounced for their iconic features of the region and being so conveniently located close to the hotels and resorts. Vilamoura

Situated in the heart of the Golden triangle, Vilamoura started its inital construction and planning in 1966 and was founded and funded by the Portuguese banker Cupertino de Miranda with the resorts management Lusotur (now Lusort) taking control of its construction. In 1996 Vilamoura (Lusort) was acquired by Quinta do Lago´s founder André Jordan.

The Vilamoura resort suits all ages and has activites for everyone! The Marina has some of the most exclusive restaurants and a very fun and lively nightlife. The Marina is also the largest in Portugal, and has some of the most beautiful yachts parked on its docks.
